Artist Bio

Jane Gainer-Talbott is a faith-based, multi-disciplinary exhibiting artist, entrepreneur, and teacher.  Her work examines many facets of society and is both figurative and highly narrative. In her practice, Jane enjoys color, whimsy, texture, abstract ideas, and canvases of all size.  Painting, throwing on the wheel, and sculpting are her happy place. 


Jane has taught on staff at prestigious schools such as Fusion Academy and Ascension Lutheran. Art History is intergrated into her lessions as a tool to connect youth and people to aspects of art that historically may not have been accessible to them.  She has a passion for Black History and disenfranchised people. Jane  Gainer-Talbott is the founder of Master’s Talents, a Fine and Performing Arts school. Master's Talents has held contracts with school districts, community centers,  private homeschooling academys, and private clients, among other entities. 


During the pandemic of 2020, Talbott was featured on the cover of Random Lengths News; (Aug. 6-19, 2020), with the title “Art of Change.” In addition, she was the keynote speaker and Artist at United Airlines (LAX) Black History Month Town Hall Meeting, (February 2021). Among other accolades, Talbott is a recipient of the Winston-Hewett Scholarship and a featured Artist with Enjambed Multi-Literacy Journal (May 2022 Edition). She received her Bachelor’s, in Studio Art, (Spring 2022) from Cal State University Dominguez Hills. Talbott served as the Vice President of the CSUDH Ceramics Guild and a member of the Dominguez Hills Arts Collective. Her work has been exhibited at El Camino College (2018, 2019). Palos Verdes Art Center (2022), The Mistake Room (2022), African American Cultural Center in Long Beach (2024), and she regularly exhibits at the Expo Art Center in Long Beach (2024-2025) and other places. 


This Artist is dedicated to volunteering and has a passion for foster youth, senior citizens, and people from broken places. It is Jane's desire to use her talents to lift us those in need with the love and light given to her.


Mission


I have been blessed with many different talents. (I sing, dance, play guitar, write, act, am a multi-disciplinary artist, filmographer, photograpy, etc). I believe those talents are a gift from the loving Creator of the universe. Multiplying these gifts, encouranging others, and using my talents are the highest expression of appreciation that I can offer in return. My mission is to change the world one person at a time by helping them unlock their own potentional as I continue to unlock mine.
